House of Videos makes videos from a brief you write. This page says what we keep about you, why, who helps us run the service, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
House of Videos (“we”) runs houseofvideos.com and decides how your information is used. You can reach us about anything on this page at contact@houseofvideos.com.
What we store
- Your account: your email address, your name and a password stored only as a secure hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and nothing else.
- Your films: the briefs you write, the scripts, pictures, voices, clips and finished films made from them, and the changes and approvals you make along the way.
- Payments: your plan, your credit balance and whether a payment went through. Stripe holds your card and billing details; we never see or store a card number.
- Technical records: sign-in sessions and the server logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
Why we use it
To run your account and make the films you ask for (the contract between us), to take payment and keep the records the law requires (legal obligation), and to keep the service secure and fix faults (legitimate interest). We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The emails we send
Some emails come with the account and cannot be turned off: a password reset you asked for, and receipts for payments. Every other email is asked first, one kind at a time, and is off until you say yes:
- Your films: when a film is waiting for your approval, and when it is finished.
- A weekly summary and news from House of Videos, a few emails a month at most.
You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Notifications, or with the link at the bottom of every email. We keep a record of each answer, when you gave it and where (at sign-up, in the site, or from an email), so that we can show what you agreed to.
Who helps us
These companies process information on our behalf, only to provide the service. Your brief and script text is sent to the services that write, voice and picture your film.

|---|---|
| Railway | Renders and edits the final film from your clips. |
| Stripe | Takes payments and keeps your billing details. We never see your card number. |
| Resend | Sends our emails: password resets and, if you said yes, film and weekly emails. |
| Sign in with Google, if you choose it. | |
| OpenAI | Writes and checks scripts from your brief. |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Writes and checks scripts, answers the help and planning chats, and checks the pictures made for your films. |
| ElevenLabs | Reads the narration aloud. |
| fal.ai | Generates the pictures and video clips of your films. |
Some of these companies are based outside the European Union. Where your information leaves the EU, it is protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and films for as long as your account is open. If you delete a film, its files are removed. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and your films within 30 days, except for the payment records we must keep by law. Backups are overwritten within 14 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to limit or stop using it, and ask for your films and data in a portable form. Write to contact@houseofvideos.com and we will answer within one month.
You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Romania that is the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
Changes to this page
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and tell you by email before the change applies. See also our Terms.
