- NewMeet Homie
Snap has handed over the clapper. Homie, our house character, now plans your videos with you on Home and answers your questions. Same help, new face.
- NewA simpler start
Home is now one box: tell Homie what you want to make, and you see the plan before anything starts. Shortcuts for YouTube, Shorts, explainers and kids stories help you begin. The menu is organised by what you do, and each video shows its steps in a bar at the top.
- NewDownload your data, delete your account
Settings → Account now has "Download my data" and "Delete my account". Deleting waits 14 days, and you can keep your account until then.
- FixedNo trial watermark on paid films
Once you have paid for anything, your films no longer carry the free film's watermark. Without a Studio or Agency plan they get a small corner mark instead.
- NewThe free film starts with a card
Before your first film, add a card on the secure payment page. Nothing is charged, and each card unlocks one free film.
- NewSocial formats
Finished films can now be downloaded as vertical 9:16 or horizontal 16:9 copies with captions burned in, under "For social" in the Screening Room.
- NewInvite a friend
Share your personal link from Billing. When a friend makes their first payment, you both get bonus credits.
- NewEmails when a film needs you
Choose to get an email when a film is waiting for your approval, when it is ready, and a weekly summary. Set them in Settings → Notifications.
- BetterA simpler first film
Your first film now takes three steps: your idea, the style, and Start. Every other option is under "Advanced". Style cards play a short sample.
- BetterEasier to find your way
A Back button and the notification bell are now on every page, Pause and Resume are in the film's header, and the voice picker filters by Female or Male.
- BetterClips fit the narration
Each video clip is now made at the length its line of narration needs.
- NewPay per film
No plan needed: pay for a single film when it starts. Anything it does not use stays on your account as credits.
- BetterA new Sound Booth and Editing Room
The narration and final-settings steps were redesigned to be clearer.
- NewPlans, credit packs and the free film
Monthly plans and credit packs are on the Pricing page, and every new account gets one free 30-second Story film.
- BetterFair credits
Anything that fails while your film is made is never charged, a deleted film gives back what it was holding, and unused plan credits carry over for one month.
- NewA new look
A redesigned site with rooms for each step, a new login and sign-up, and public Pricing, Terms and Privacy pages.
- NewYour own account
Sign in with email and password or with Google. Each account sees only its own films.
- FixedDownload button
The finished film now has a real Download button.
